JOB TITLE: Coach Driver
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP8.50 - 10.50 per hour, average wage over GBP435 per week, plus workplace pension scheme and performance related bonus
WORKING HOURS: Full time/Part time

THE COMPANY: Our client, based in Telford, is a family run coach business. Having been established since 1916, they are one of the longest standing coach businesses in Shropshire and run a fleet of 22 coaches. Due to growth, they now have an excellent opportunity for a Coach Driver to join their team.

THE ROLE: Our client is currently seeking a Coach Driver to join their team based in Telford. Within the role, you will be responsible for driving passengers on school and factory contracts plus a wide range of private hire. You will also be responsible for regulatory paperwork, plus company paperwork as well as maintaining the vehicle; ensuring you carry out oil and water checks and maintain the overall presentation of the vehicle. Customer service will also be an element of this position as you will be dealing with passengers on a daily basis, representing the company.

There is a possibility of unsociable hours i.e. Early starts and late finishes, so please be aware of this.

Driving people on contracts
Occasionally working unsociable hours
Undertaking relevant paperwork
Overall maintenance of the vehicle
Delivering excellent customer service

THE CANDIDATE: To be considered for the position of Coach Driver, you must possess a PCV licence and be a flexible team player. Previous experience driving coaches would be advantageous, however our client will consider new drivers. You will have a positive, 'can-do' attitude and will have the ability to deliver excellent customer service; for this reason, good working knowledge of the English language is an occupational requirement.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
