The Marketing Manager's role is to lead the marketing strategy, planning and delivery to acquire, retain and develop customers and to differentiate this highly regarded health organisation. The initial focus of the role will be corporate customers and over time this will expand to other organisations, distribution channels and the end users of our services. This will include customer insight and the development of contact and engagement plans deployed through a breadth of channels and activity to build awareness, create interest and develop relationships.

This role requires a marketing expert who understands the corporate market and how to build and develop relationships. The ideal person will be commercially minded with the ability to add value to the business through audience insight and marketing activity. You will need to build strong relationships across the business as well as managing external agencies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of this role:

Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager include:
• Lead the development, management and delivery of marketing strategy aligned to our business and distribution strategy to drive business value.
• Work closely with the Sales leadership team to develop a targeting strategy. Develop an insight programme to build a deep understanding of decision makers that will inform our sales and marketing approach
• Develop a suite of innovative, compelling collateral and sales materials that create stand out and differentiation for the business for prospecting, retention and account development. Develop stories that capture and evidence the strength of our propositions and the value we bring to clients.
• Develop a segmented engagement plan (utilising a CRM system) and a programme of events and activity to generate and manage leads. Effectively reach decision makers raising awareness of the business, demonstrating the strength of our propositions and building preference. Track and monitor performance.
• Develop an engagement plan and communication materials to reach the end users of our services (managers and employees) so they can access our services and understand the benefit of them
• Effectively manage agency relationship and external partnerships including budget management


Essential Criteria

• Proven marketing track record, ideally B2B marketing experience
• Strategic marketer who understands the commercial role of marketing and has a track record of making a positive impact
• Creative and innovative thinker who can use marketing to develop leads and build, nurture and develop relationships
• Excellent communication skills
• Planning, campaign and event management including tracking and reporting
• Excellent relationship management and influencing skills at leadership level
• Agency and external partners management
• Budget management

Desirable Criteria

• Graduate level education or equivalent
• Marketing qualification
• Experience of working in healthcare (or related) industry
