SALES EXECUTIVE (TRAINING) REQUIRED FOR AN IMMEDIATE START!! BASED IN COVENTRY £22,000 - £24,000 + OTE £36,000 + BENEFITS

My client is a well known national/international training provider of blended learning solutions, due to expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Executive on a permanent basis. The role will be responsible for selling tailored management training and sales training solutions. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated sales person who can win new business and develop more business from the existing client base. You will receive lots of leads and opportunities each month from the marketing team and also there is an existing client base of 3,500 that can be utilised for additional opportunities. This position is based in Coventry and requires occasional national travel to meet new prospects and existing clients. Full training and support will be provided.

[ The role ]

- Following up on leads that have made enquiries
- Calling existing clients to promote products and services
- Converting prospects to clients
- Building relationships with new customers
- Setting up appointments
- Prospecting, researching and generating leads
- Promoting new ideas/items to clients
- Diary management
- Using our CRM system to keep on top of leads and clients
- Go out on client visits alone and with trainers
- Proactively sourcing sales leads
- Contacting new businesses and selling company courses
- Scheduling calls, update calls to build strong business relationships through to completion of sales
- Completing relevant confirmation paperwork

[ Person and skills required ]

- Willing to work closely within our small, growing team
- Experience of sales and management training would be an advantage
- Having an aptitude for figures
- Previous sales experience (preferably B2B)
- Able to work well under your own initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence
- Accuracy and good attention to detail are all essential attribute
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- The ability to put the customer first at all times
- Appreciation of the training industry
- Experience of working in a small but busy office
- Have a flexible and can do outlook
- Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM systems/databases
