Design & Build Operations Manager - Office Fit Out - £55,000 -£70,000 & Package

My client are Staffordshire based office fit out contractor that turnover £10M and have sites located throughout the North West and the Midlands. They have appointed me in charge of recruiting their next business critical role of Operations Manager on a permanent basis, with immediate impact. They are a constantly developing business and due to a full order book and repeat business from multiple clients they have this current requirement. They have a full order book for the next 18 months as a minimum and have a plan in place to increase turnover ot £30M in the next 3 years

Any applicant will have to have a structured career history and at least 5 years' experience at Operations Management level within the design & build fit office out market. You will have had experience of controlling multiple teams(consisting of Contracts Managers, commercial staff and site based staff) specifically on design and build office fit out sites. Main duties and responsibilities include pitching for business, taking commercial onus of each site under your teams control, ensuring that the Contracts Managers are controlling their teams as expected and making sure that the commercial team are delivering a substantial profit on each project under their control.

Projects are located in the North West and Midlands, my client currently have no fewer than 15 live sites at the moment, every project are design and build office fit outs. Jobs can range in value from £100,000 - £5,000,000, with average job value circa £750,000 and average duration 8 - 10 weeks. They currently compete for work against the likes of Claremont, ADT Workplace and The TSK Group.

Candidates need to demonstrate the following skills and experience in.

A minimum of 5 years experience at Operations Management level.
Extensive experience in the D&B office fit out sector.
Ideally will have worked for the likes of TSK, ADT, Claremont etc.
Excellent reputation and a proven track record within the industry
Examples of work delivered/ projects won.

The vacancy is specifically to works as the Managing Director's right hand man, the Operations Manager will be fast tracked to Directorship level within the next 12 - 18 months.

Interviews are available on week commencing the 31st and a start can be made in August. It will be a three stage interview process, but for the right candidate it may be narrowed down to just two. All candidates will be expected to have contactable references.
