Our client is looking for an exceptional Registered Nurse/Staff Nurse

to join them as a Clinical Nurse Advisor, and help the NHS meet important objectives.

The successful candidate will join our client's nationwide team of high calibre Nurse Advisors. Our client works closely with the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) to deliver the efficiencies highlighted in Lord Carter's interim report: Review of operational efficiency in NHS providers. They provide patient-focused healthcare products and Nurse Advisor services to the NHS and work in close partnership with more than a 1000 NHS trusts.

Our client's Vision is to partner the NHS using their scale, expertise and passion for service to provide the best healthcare and well-being for all.

Their Registered Nurses work closely with both procurement and clinicians in Hospitals. You will be advising trust colleagues, on a range of projects to help reduce wastage, improve clinical services and maximise patient care. As Clinical Nurse Advisor, you will run audits across a range of products and therapy areas, help clinical teams evaluate products and provide feedback to key budgetary and clinical stakeholders. You will also develop training packages to implement changes and support clinical staff throughout the process.

This is a great opportunity for a Staff Nurse or Nursing Sister to specialise in clinical review and help positively impact the changes in the NHS. You will use your clinical expertise to help trusts maintain best practice and meet budgets. And set up training projects to ensure the savings identified in each project can be replicated throughout the Hospital.

To be considered for this important role you will ideally meet the following criteria;

- Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC PIN
- 5 years post registration experience as a Staff Nurse in acute/hospital setting (a background in theatres, surgery, critical care, ICU or A&E is an advantage)
- Excellent communication skills and team player
- Clinical teaching or mentorship experience
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
