Support Worker, 27hrs - Worcester
We are currently looking to expand our team of dedicated support workers who are based in Worcester and are supporting 2 ladies who have a learning disability.
You will be responsible for the day to day livelihood of these individuals and will help with medication, personal care, finances and daily living tasks.
Each of our ladies has their own passions that you will get involved with. One of our ladies loves the great outdoors and loves to have a picnic by the river or go and walk in the countryside. Our other lady absolutely loves Disney films, so master your Donald Duck impression and be prepared to sing Let It Go from the top of your lungs!
Our ladies have each created a profile about what they would like from their support worker, please have a look at this on the additional details tab.
Supporting someone with their daily life is not a 9-5 job. You will need to be able to work across a range of different days and shift patterns. We realise that your quality time is important too, so your rota is prepared well in advance - Got a request, something special going on? Your manager will certainly try to help you meet it.
One of the most amazing things about being a Support Worker is that anyone can do it! As long as you have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of those with a learning disability, we will support you with progression opportunities throughout your career with us.
An enhanced DBS will be required for each successful candidate (Paid for by Mencap, T&Cs apply)
