Controls Systems Engineer

The Person:

Ideally degree qualified or possessing a relevant engineering based qualification, you will be an experienced Controls / Systems Engineer from within either a Passenger Car, Off Highway or Commercial vehicle manufacturing environment. You will be a competent Engineer, being well versed in designing and developing controls algorithms for electrical mechanical systems, for the next generation of systems for this Niche component manufacturer.

This will include a hands on working knowledge of communications protocols including CAN, software programming (C, C+) and toolsets associated with embedded (ECU) based systems.

The Role:

This is a key position within the Engineering function, as you will be one a of a hand full of Global Technical Specialist's supporting the current and development of future control systems, from initial design concept's, through to full production.

You will be responsible for the Controls Engineering Element including supporting software for all major electro mechanical projects, to ensure a highly engineered, technically compliant system is produced.

The site is commutable from Birmingham, Leamington Spa, Solihull, Coventry, Nuneaton, Rugby, Northampton, Banbury
