The successful applicant for this Teaching Assistant role will be a committed Chemistry graduate who has earned a second class degree or better and previous experience working in a school. We want to meet graduates who can show that they have an innate desire to be the best teacher they can possibly be.
Your role will be to support general classes within the goal-oriented Science Department and you will be taking on small groups of pupils or providing 1:1 support across all key stages. A daily duty of yours will be to prepare the classroom for the day ahead ensuring all the necessary resources are available in line with the lesson plan. You will be becoming part of a school that works hard to give all TAs and LSAs extensive guidance by assigning them a mentor, yours will be a Class Teacher.
