SF Group are recruiting for a Business Development Manager for our Automotive client based in Worcester.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing profitable sales through development of innovative body in white solutions to new and existing OEM Customers within the Automotive Market.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • New business and sales growth
  • Sales visits and presentations to key accounts and new accounts
  • Negotiate major contracts and T&C's
  • Report on a regular basis enquiry activity and market conditions
  • Support the NPI system and Project Engineers with Customer requirements and changes
  • Active participation in strategic initiatives
  • Effective communication at all levels
  • Achieve tooling and forming sales targets as detailed within the annual appraisal to achieve Divisional ROS
  • Increase Customer Base & Market diversification
  • Increase Sales from existing Customers through Key account management
  • Customer focus and good Customer relationships
  • Marketing materials to meet Sales strategy

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Automotive body in white experience/knowledge
  • Understanding of pressing & sheet metal processes
  • OEM commercial pricing & negotiating experience
  • Engineering feasibility
  • Relevant Engineering Qualification
  • Sales & marketing experience, general background in engineering principles & materials
  • Good communicator, Integrity, Accountability, Customer Focus, Team Player
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours
  • Travel across the UK, Europe and beyond
  • Full Driving License and Passport is essential
  • Italian speaking desirable but not essential
