Outcomes First Group is opening a brand new children's home offering a therapeutic approach to supporting children to step into our fostering service. We are a multi-award winning organisation, specialising in providing services to Adults and Children across the UK and seek an inspiring manager to set up and forge the success path for this new service!

Overview of the position:

Are you an experienced Home Manager who has a positive track record with OFSTED outcomes (Good or Outstanding)? Would you like to take lead on a new project to set up, register, establish and manage a brand new children's residential service? About the Role

As the newly appointed Registered Manager you will be building key relationships with stakeholders to register the service with OFSTED. You will be working closely with the builders to take lead on the furnishing and decoration of the home to truly make it your own!

As part of this project, you will be working with the Recruitment Team and Outcomes First on attracting and hiring local talent to your service and leading on the interviews and relaying offers.

The residential home will be a step down to our Fostering Service and will be registered for up to 6 young individuals aged 7 - 12 years old who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Our current, similar service offers highly successful therapeutic support using the Trauma Model and PACE to create attachments and we now wish to recreate this success by supporting more vulnerable children.

You will ensure the home is fully compliant with OFSTED by monitoring, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures to run in line with the latest legislations.

This is a fabulous opportunity for anyone who would like the experience of setting up, establishing and managing a children's residential service.

To be considered you will hold the following:

- Experience in managing a children's residential service

- Recognised social work qualification or a professional qualification relevant to working with children at Level 4

- Qualified to NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management (LMCS) or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care in Children and Young People's Services

- A therapeutic qualification would also be beneficial

- Successful track record with OFSTED outcomes (Good or Outstanding)

- Ability to lead, mentor and develop staffing teams

- Passionate about providing quality care and support to young people

Location Information:

This exact location of the home is confidential but is near Telford and is commutable from the following areas: Wolverhampton, Stafford, Cannock, Stoke-on-Trent and Worcester.
