Galliford Try Infrastructure Division is divided into six operational business units - Highways, Water, Scotland, Power & Security, Rail & Aviation, Environment - and one business unit, Infrastructure Divisional Solutions, which provides strategic services for the Division.

The opportunity is within Infrastructure Divisional Solutions which comprises five service lines:

Technical Services - combines a central engineering service covering temporary works, design and R&D and quality management

Strategic Development - identifying and developing new and emerging markets within the Infrastructure sector

Business Improvement - identifying, assessing and implementing improvements that make the business more efficient and effective in delivery, hence more profitable

Supply Chain - providing a centralised, co-ordinated approach to procurement and sub-contract across the Division

Pre-construction - Centralised management of the opportunity pipeline, pre-qualifications and tenders

Within this role you will be leading the promotion, development and delivery of BIM implementation across Infrastructure and on allocated projects, which will include assistance with the document control and management of information in the Common Data Environment and managing compliance of Project BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the BIM process in terms of development and implementation, taking into account the company BIM processes and protocols
- Actively contribute to the development and improvement of BIM processes and protocols
- Actively liaise with other BIM leads in the GT business and represent business unit on BIM related matters
- Actively explore and pursue connections between BIM and the on-site activities, enhancing the awareness of its capabilities and encouraging interaction and use
- Stay informed on innovations and best practices
- Share knowledge and experiences amongst Infrastructure business units through briefings/demonstrations, training workshops and schedules of lessons learnt

You will also be responsible for aspects of software implementation, BIM Standards development, Design development, Handover, training and marketing of BIM initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications:

To be considered for this role you will need to be an enthusiastic and driven individual able to motivate self, business units and individual project teams to deliver BIM within the Infrastructure Division. You will have good and proven experience within a BIM role.
