Manpower are currently working with an organisation based in Bilston, West Midlands who are looking to appoint a number of Warehouse Shift Coordinators on a full time permanent basis.

As a Warehouse Shift Coordinator you will report to the Team Leader / Line Manager and will responsible for assigning work to the area of the warehouse that you are assigned to work by your TL / LM. You will be expected to act as a role model to colleagues and be the first point of contact for all work assignment queries and ensure that colleagues are fully briefed on what they are expected to do. You will be responsible for working with the TL/ LM to move colleagues around to meet SLA targets and will be the super user of the Red Prairie WMS responsible for producing reports and analysing shift data.

What are the key responsibilities of this role?

*As a member of the leadership team you will support TL / LM to ensure that shift is run effectively to deliver against KPIs and key targets.
*As the super user and main point of contact for Red Prairie WMS you will be responsible for managing the flow of work and ensuring that it is assigned to colleague efficiently, keeping them updated on their individual performance.
*You will be expected to monitor and react to changes in workload by reassigning work to ensure key targets are met.
*You will work with your colleagues to ensure that tasks assigned to them are completed to a high standard.
*You will be responsible for ensuring that company SLA's and Fulfilment targets are met within the expected timelines.
*You will be expected to report any staff issues with regards to absence, lateness or inappropriate behaviour to your TL / LM as soon as is practicable so that they are investigated and resolved.
*Working alongside your TL / LM you will highlight any staff weaknesses and build improvement plans to improve your colleagues' performance.
*You will support the TL/LM in ensuring that your colleagues are motivated throughout the shift and where there are issues or concerns support the TL/LM in dealing with these including undertaking investigations where required.
*You will have the opportunity to highlight where you feel that improvements could be made in the operation and work with your TL/ LM to assess the viability of implementing the improvements suggested.
*You will be required to ensure that the highest health and safety standards are adhered to and any incidents or accidents are investigated and any reporting requirements completed.
*You must set the next shift up for success by ensuring that there is an accurate handover in place.
*You must maintain a strong relationship with both internal head office departments and 3rd parties.
*You will be expected to identify, support and develop team members who wish to progress to leadership roles.
*You will be responsible for ensuring that stock integrity and accuracy is maintained across site.
*You will carry out Continuous Improvement activities as directed by the TL / LM.
