We are looking to appoint caring and patient lunchtime supervisors to work within our client SEND schools. Successful applicants will help pupils with their feeding skills, health/hygiene programmes and play/leisure activities. You will be required to interact positively with SEND students and ensure their safety at all times.
The schools cater for pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties aged 3 - 19. The schools have Specialist Provision for Sensory and Physical needs. We are recruiting for both Male and Female Teaching assistants. The SEN Schools we would be placing you in have students with disabilities of a nature that would involve assisting with personal care.
This role is ideal for those who are looking to work 16 hours a week.
You would be required to work Monday-Friday over the lunchtime period, and occasionally staying for the afternoons to support teachers in the classroom.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
Experience of working as a SEND lunchtime supervisor.
Some classroom experience is preferred.
- Flexible and available to work 5 days over lunch.
- Current, valid DBS (update service).
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies.

Be a confident person with a warm and friendly approach.
Able to apply behaviour policies effectively.
Salary and Benefits:
£8.00 per hour
