Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant (part qualified)
Salary: Very Good Salary + Benefits & PAID Accountancy Certification Support (up to 4 papers per year + access to 5000 online courses!)
Interview Structure: Accountant Test (3 questions), Online Personality/Mathematics assessment followed by Video & Face to face interview.
Start: August/September 2017 (allows for CRB and general checks to complete)
Key Skills & Experience
- Hands on experience working within Accountancy / Accounts / Financial Control
- Balance sheet/sub-ledger/bank reconciliations
- Calculation and posting of journals (inc. prepayments and accruals)
- Must be Part Qualified as a minimum (AAT Level 4, CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Experience of operating manual financial/transactional processes
- Production of management/financial accounts
- Input into budgets/forecasting/variance analysis
- Good excel skills (v-lookup/pivots etc)
- Experience of various financial systems/ERP
- A blue chip client background highly preferred
The Part-Qualified Assistant Management Accountant will ideally be someone with a passion for Finance and be looking for a fresh challenge where you can progress your career! This position would suit someone who is looking to join a client who can offer a challenge and help push you on to the next level. The Junior Accountant will be someone either already qualified or currently part qualified i.e. AAT Level 4, ACCA, CIMA or ACA and have hands on experience working in a similar function as we will fund up to 4 papers per year to keep your progression on track!
During your time as an Ajilon Consultant and onsite with our client you will use your current experience coupled with the desire to carry on developing continuously as part of a huge finance team. This opportunity is as much as about desire and attitude as it is about experience.
We would expect some hands on relevant working history in order to be suitable for these vacancies. Finance professionals from a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger or Junior Accountant type background would best suit these vacancies.
