Commercial Finance Analyst
Commercial Finance Analyst - Telford - 6 month contract - to GBP30k - Immediate start
We are working with a well-established organisation based in Telford. Due to recent growth, this service-based business is now seeking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst to support their drive towards greater efficiency in reporting, process development and performance.
The Commercial Finance Analyst will be pivotal to the partnership that develops between finance and the rest of the business as it continues to grow. This position will revolve around the analysis of financial information for the operational areas of the organisation to improve budgeting, planning and the achievement of corporate goals.
Specifically, the role of Commercial Finance Analyst will involve the following:
- Providing analytical support to all commercial teams, including finance, procurement and product development
- Supporting all aspects of the financial reporting cycle and offering improvements where possible
- Becoming the "go to" person for project teams for financial analysis and planning information
- Working with the ledger teams to improve transactional efficiency
- Development of KPIs
This position will be a 6 month contract initially, to support various aspects of a large-scale change management project across the business.
The successful Commercial Finance Analyst will have a solid foundation in management accounting and financial reporting, ideally within a large and complex business. You will likely be a part-qualified accountant (or with equivalent/relevant experience) with a passion for process improvement and stakeholder engagement. Strong systems skills, including Excel, will be highly-advantageous.
This role requires someone with immediate availability and a commitment to the initial 6 month period, with a strong likelihood that the success of the on-going change management programme will offer a much longer tenure.
