An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Training and Development Manager with experience of high level admin support to provide assistance to a growing and busy department for a period of circa 12 months. The role is temporary and paying up to £29 ltd co, per hour.

What you will be doing:

  • The coordination of, the management and delivery of the training interventions suitable for all Procurement training needs
  • Managing the design of all new training, classroom, e-learning and videos to ensure that it is future proofed and capable
  • Ensuring alignment with the L&D strategy and budget
  • Design, develop and delivery of Purchasing Learning conferences, events and training interventions
  • Ensuring that cultural differences are included in all training material, coordinating material from the centre (HQ) whilst ensuring the applicability is appropriate for the Global regions
  • Lead daily meetings with the customer to provide update on project progress
  • Lead discussions with different areas to define requirement and gather information relevant to project
  • Engage the relevant suppliers and service providers and ensure that they meet the requirements set
  • Own and update all project documents and issue reports to seniors based on set key performance indicators
  • Build, develop and grow any relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time

Candidate profile:

  • Degree qualified
  • Experience of delivering training globally
  • Strong buying expertise with previous experience in a purchasing or commercial environment
  • Ability to travel internationally and deliver training suitable for the global business needs (UK, Austria, Brazil, China, India, Slovakia)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interact at personal levels with Senior Management
  • Ability to manage work load and drive positive results
  • Pedantic attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive & supportive set of behavioural/personality traits
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet demanding timescales
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Intermediate to Advance user in Excel and Word)
