Overall Job Purpose:

Ensures that the website creates the right impression, displays the correct products, offers the correct targeted promotions and recommendations for customers

Key Responsibilities:

•Work closely with the Data analysis and CRO teams to

•Analyse overall performance, forecasts and opportunities

•Influence key stakeholders through compelling insights and effective presentation of results

•Focus throughout is on the customer journey and user experience

•Work collaboratively with the Content team and Customer Journey Manager to ensure the website merchandising reflects what the customer expect

•Maintain site navigation, including creating and removing categories as needed based on merchandising and marketing strategies, merchant reporting and web analytics

•Implement changes to online category strategy based on customer and competitive insights, brand strategy and e-commerce goals and initiatives

•Analyse sales and web metrics to make recommendations about products and categories, web marketing and promotions

•Ensure that all products are displayed correctly with the right current stock

•Work with the content team to ensure that all online products updates are on time with the right message and in the right place

•Work with offline Marketing team to co-ordinate on new product launches, sales / promotion events

•Prepare and organise all major and minor sales events, re-merchandising the site as required

•Review onsite search behaviour to gain an understanding of keyword queries and manipulate the products within the search pages to drive conversion

•Work closely with Data Analytics and CRO teams to understand customer feedback and address issues and implement changes were appropriate

Skills and Experience Required:

•Good level of knowledge and experience of e-commerce businesses

•Strong understanding of the user behaviour and ecommerce landscape

•Good analytical skills

•Traditional merchandising or buying background

•Passionate about digital products

•Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines, often while working independently

•Strong attention to detail
