Our client are an extremely well established property advisement organisation with roots in the residential, commercial and rural sectors. They specialise in commercial, residential and rural chartered surveyors, estate agents, auctioneers, valuers, planning and development consultants, residential letting agents and property consultants

We are looking for a full time secretary to work at our busy and vibrant office in Atherstone. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years secretarial experience, have the ability to work on their own initiative whilst also being a good team player. Accuracy is essential. Estate Agency experience is preferred but not essential.

A little about the job……

A very varied role involving the usual secretarial duties, diary management (outlook), general letters, memos, e-mails etc.

Other duties include:

• Providing solicitors and banks with RICS Red Book Valuation Reports – these can be very lengthy documents which cover probate, matrimonial, tax planning, partnership split reports etc

• Estate agency sales – taking calls from potential purchasers, collating property brochures, putting details on the internet and general sales chasing when required to help out the surveyor they may be working for

• Appointments also to be made for clients wishing to put property on the market with us – keeping these clients updated with regular reports is also involved

The role can be very challenging but also very rewarding with no two days the same!
