Serene Furnishings is one of the UK's fastest growing Furniture Wholesalers; sourcing products globally and supplying a network of stockist across the UK.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Media Executive who is hands-on, strategic and creative, to join a well-established B2B Company to help them develop their new retail division. Not every day will be the same, you really will be joining a company with an exciting future.

Based at the company’s Head Office in West Bromwich, you will be working closely with the Digital Marketing Managerto ensure Social Media activities are supporting and in line with the overall digital marketing plan.

The role is critical to the on-going success of the business and demands the ability to work autonomously and take initiative when needed. This role will provide great challenges for the successful candidate who is able to display drive, initiative and determination


Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:

* Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers. * Create, curate, all published content (images, video and written).

* Copywriting for websites

* Monitor, listen and respond to users in a "Social" way while generating leads and sales.

* Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts, to generate online publications and brand awareness.

* Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Pinterest Profile, Instagram and Blog, etc.).

* Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.

* Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.

* Analyse key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.

* Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.

* Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.

* Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company.

* Report notable threats to appropriate management.

As the Social Media Executive, you will be highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. That passion comes through as you engage with customers daily, with the goal of turning fans into customers. An essential component is communicating the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way what will attract today’s buyers.


* Working experience in the B2C Social Media sector

* Excellent copywriting and communication skills

* Basic to intermediate graphical design skills (Adobe Software)

* Experience using CMS systems such as Magento / Wordpress

* Experience using social media tools, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buzzsumo, Short Stack etc..

* Experience with social paid campaigns

* Highly organized - must be detail orientated, able to multi-task, knows how to prioritise and anticipate issues

* Quick learner who is able to work independently

* Strong communicator. Builds rapport at all levels both internally and externally.

* Pro-active in seeking new opportunities that will drive a following and generate sales

* Team Player - works towards shared goal, supports the team, works together to get the best outcome

* Must be able to show a clear understanding of the brands involved, their values and the best way to generate sales with these in mind.

* Strong customer service values

* Hands on and flexible approach with a 'Can do' attitude and enthusiastic.
