An experienced chef is required to step into a busy contract catering unit, situated in a stunning 18th century priory, and take responsibility for their conferencing, events and hospitality offering.
This is a chance to work for one of the country’s largest and most respected contract caterers all whilst having a great work/life balance. This chef will be versatile and able to confidently support the day to day running of the kitchen.The successful chef will be switched on, forward thinking and will be able to devise new banqueting and event menus.
·Working 40 hours a week. 200 days a year. Incredible work/life balance.
·Designing creative, new menus for conferences and events.
·Producing food for large numbers of guests at these events.
·Supporting the day to day running of the kitchen.
The successful candidate will be:
·Hard working and used to cooking for large numbers. C&B experience a plus.
·Able to keep a cool head under pressure.
·Creative and 'on the pulse’ with current food trends.
·Have high standards and be self-motivated.
·Up to 165 days off a year!!!
