We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning and Development professional to join our busy team and help drive forward our Group people strategy.

2017 will see Police Mutual Group continue to strive to improve our learning and development proposition - with the aim of ensuring all of our people are able to reach their very best potential. Within this role you will:

  • Research, diagnose, design, deliver and evaluate a broad range of high quality and impactful learning and development interventions across a wide spectrum of subjects and audience profiles

  • Coach others to maximise potential and thrive in a high performing culture

  • Align interventions in support of our purpose, vision and values and work with HR colleagues to ensure learning and development activity and solutions mutually reinforce and embed the wider HR strategy and plans

  • Proactively seek out emerging thinking, models and theories and translate them into practical, engaging solutions design to enable individuals and teams to deliver an improved and sustainable benefit to the business

What we need from you:

  • Experience of the full training life cycle, including leadership development solutions

  • Pace, resilience and flexibility associated with a fast paced, multi-site and complex business

  • Achievement orientated and able to deliver quality within tight timescales and whilst managing multiple initiatives

  • Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills are a given

  • The ideal candidate will have some experience of digital design or have a predisposition/desire to work with technology to improve the efficacy of our materials

  • Insights accreditation would be an advantage, however, the right person with solid experience is most important

  • Flexibility to travel to our other sites and a full drivers licence
