Senior Mechanical Project Engineer - Northamptonshire
Salary circa GBP40 - GBP50,000 (doe) + Benefits
A Senior Mechanical Project Engineer is required for this busy Design, Engineering & Manufacturing business. Working on a global basis with a range of blue chip clients this company manufactures bespoke, high precision products that are used across a range of industrial sectors. Due to further expansion and increased orders they are looking for a degree qualified Senior Mechanical Project Engineer. Ideally you will hold a degree in mechanical engineering and be either a fully chartered engineer with the IMechE or working towards this.
In this role you will join a small proactive team and have the opportunity to manage projects on a global basis. This will require occasional overseas travel to client sites as and when required. To be considered for this Senior Mechanical Project Engineer role you must have:

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years post graduate engineering experience gained in a product development or project engineering environment
- Experience of rotating machinery which may include the power, utilities, aerospace, test, special purpose equipment or automotive sectors
- A solid understanding of mechanical design and able to produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings
- Experience of managing projects, be commercially astute, and ensure that deadlines and budgets are achieved
- A real enthusiasm and passion for engineering, with an inquiring mind and real desire to learn
- An ability to take responsibility and ownership, an eye for detail, capable of building robust working relationships
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and deliver a first class customer service
- Full eligibility to work in the UK
- A full UK driving licence and own a car

The position of Senior Mechanical Project Engineer will be challenging, varied and interesting.
