My client is a supplier to some of the best names in the Automotive industry, they are currently recruiting or a Tax Specialist to help prepare tax related reports.
The Role :
*Preparation of the yearly/monthly tax declarations and other tax related reports & tax balance sheets to tax authorities (indirect and direct taxes) within the legal deadline under consideration of the 4-eyes principle
*Preparation of monthly Tax Balance Sheets / Income Statements
*Preparation of the quarterly current and deferred tax calculations
*Management of VAT or similar indirect taxes (including):
oVAT/indirect tax controlling (VAT receivables management)
oMonitoring VAT/indirect tax accounts (including exchange rate issues for the related accounts)
*Tax Consulting, Training (e.g. VAT/indirect tax treatment of sales, withholding taxes, etc.) for local departments and management
*Management of Tax cash flow (indirect taxes, advanced payments direct taxes etc.) and monitoring of tax payment deadlines
*Preparation of the local Transfer Pricing file in close Cooperation with WSD Tax department
*Checking of Transfer Pricing Adjustments/Agreements, monitoring and reporting regarding adherence to the Division Transfer Pricing Policy with securing of the application of the Divisions policy in close cooperation with WSD Tax department
*Execution of WSD VAT compliance process
*Tax risk management and tax compliance (to ensure that all legal tax regulations are fulfilled)
*Management of local tax controls and negotiation with the local authorities
*Monitoring changes in local tax law and implementation on site
*Preparing applications for VAT refund, Tax benefits, tax related grants etc.
*Implementation and application of other (incl. IT related) standard processes in the tax field
*Liaising with external tax consultants, tax inspectors and tax authorities
The Candidate:
*Proven fulltime experience solely in the field of taxes at an international company (manufacturing industry would be an asset)
*Educated to a degree level, ideally in a tax related discipline
*Excellent knowledge in the national tax law with a high level of up-to-date tax issues
*Deep knowledge of international tax law (Transfer Pricing, International Vat, Treaties) and customs duties
*Good knowledge of the IFRS Tax positions
*Willingness to keep the tax knowledge on a continues up-to-date level
*Experienced in project management
*Well-developed networking and organization skills, Team-oriented
*Ability to analyse complex data
*Ability to present results clear and understandable
*Integrity, Flexibility, Efficiency
*Eligibility to work in the UK, no sponsorship will be offered
*Willingness for worldwide business travel
