We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to manage and co-ordinate the Faculty's buildings estate and all its physical facilities and resources - specialist teaching, learning, exhibition, practice and performance spaces. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, which comprises three schools: the School of Art and Design, the School of Humanities and the School of Media and Performing Arts. Each has a complex and exciting array of cutting-edge facilities and spaces including fashion workrooms, plastics, metalworking and robotics, dance studios, automotive clay modelling workshops, TV studios, a fully equipped theatre and language labs. The Facilities Manager will work with a dedicated team to support the diverse activities of the schools and our shared facilities and will have the opportunity to support external (national and international) projects and activities. You will also lead on and ensure compliance with university policy and legal requirements on Health and Safety for the Faculty; on environmental and energy issues for the School; and to oversee the Faculty resource timetabling process.

You will have an honours degree or equivalent professional qualifications; experience in managing physical resources, ideally in an educational and creative practice context. You will be able to lead on, contribute to and influence strategy in relation to resource planning and usage.
