Business Development Manager
£20000 - £22000 plus commission

A key client is currently looking for a business development and digital marketing salesperson; a real all-rounder with the ability to make a difference on a daily basis. The role can be made flexible but would suit someone looking for a full time position.
Based from the Midlands, you will be responsible for selling technology (mainly WiFi) and marketing services to leisure, hospitality and retail customers, helping to grow their customer base. Upsell services also include, loyalty apps, websites, web and email marketing other associated services.
You will also be responsible for progressing customer accounts, maintaining customer satisfaction, finding solutions to any concerns presented by our customers and proactively looking out for the customer's best interests.
Ideally you will have passion for all things technology, being creative, self- motivated, sales driven and quick to think outside the box.

The ideal candidate must be able to:

- Generate new leads by making cold calls, attending networking / trade shows / events

- Drive new business sales through new and existing clients

- Convert enquiries received from our website and other channels

- Identify key areas for improvement for customers

- Conduct an analysis of each prospect to understand the clients' needs and develop the ideal solution

- Build relationships through excellent customer services skills driving customer satisfaction and retention

- Work well with the rest of the team to ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service

- Possess the ability to execute sales tactics, implement marketing strategies and deliver effective sales presentations with passion, and consistently ask for the business

- Own and drive a vehicle Accountabilities:

- Responsible for new sales opportunities

- Manage sales to new customers and retention of existing customers

- Maintain an active pipeline of potential prospects and build relationships with key
employees of prospective businesses

- Identify key areas for improvement in existing clients' digital portfolio; determine any
appropriate services that will help customers grow. Provide details of our packages and
benefits to clients

- Responsible for all administrative tasks required for managing customers. Close the sales
and prepare and execute proposals.

- Schedule, organise, and prioritise work to meet both customer and company goals and

- Responsible for driving sales results and meeting sales targets / expectations

- Position may include other duties as determined by the company

- Previous sales experience and training essential

- Prior experience with or knowledge of technology marketing and/or digital products and

- Good IT skills, creative thinking, teamwork and the motivation to be successful and target
driven are essential.
Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience, with achievable bonus structure in place.
We would like to tailor a package to suit but would look at benefits including childcare vouchers, healthcare, pensions and gym membership as the business moves forward.
The home base for this role is Lichfield, however there will be travel involved in this role to meet the needs of our business and our customers.
