Job description:

- We need Operations support analyst and not a manger - L2 support
- Need Comptel Event Link Mediation
- Understanding of Comptel Mediation Event link, Unix, ksh, bash, perl, awk, sed, Oracle, Oracle Timesten, SQL and the ability to interrogate database tables etc., Good fault investigation skills
- Remedy, HP Operations Manager
- Proactive monitoring of the Application including general health checks and validation of output data,diagnosis and problem resolution,incident management including driving resolution of incidents,coordination of different parties
- Recovery or correction of data where reasonably practicable to do so
- Supporting business users through ad-hoc data interrogation
- Controlled shutdowns for cold backups
- Overall lead of restoration of Application following cold backups
- Maintenance and management of disaster recovery processes
- Provide assistance with ad-hoc configuration changes, routine maintenance and administration duties and reporting as required so long as pro-active monitoring and responding to support calls are given priority any other duties that Airwave requires related to the provision of support services for the Application that can be carried out within a normal working week without jeopardising the core Second Line Support responsibilities.
- Some knowledge of the Tetra network maybe beneficial but not essential

From a security perspective:

security clearance is required, this would involve a background check. They would need to provide name, address, ni number, details of employers in last 3 years. British Nationals need to provide either a full current Passport OR two of the following British Driving Licence, P45, Full Birth Certificate (issued within six weeks of birth), Utility Account (not mobile phone bill) not more than 3 months old, Council Tax Bill not more than 3 months old, Bank Statement not more than 3 months old. Other Nationals either a full current Passport or Home Office document showing the individual's UK immigration status plus one of the following Proof of residence e.g. Council Tax Bill not more than 3 months old, or Utility Account (not mobile phone bill) not more than 3 months old, or Bank Statement not more than 3 months old.
