The role is responsible for implementation of Contract Logistics projects (internal and external) throughout the country in line with the Customer Transition & Integration guidelines. It is the responsibility of a PM to develop and deliver projects into live operations

Your tasks and responsibilities
* Smooth Implementation of contract logistics projects of new customers and/or new business for existing customers avoiding interference to existing business and realizing implementations on time, within the budget and within the requested scope
* Smooth transition projects of current customers to new facilities or new WMS
* Control, overview and reporting of current project status
* Management of all project relevant elements like staffing, material/information flows, equipment, etc. and of all resources allocated to the project in such a way that these deliver all the work required to complete the project within time, financial and time constraints
* Project Communication to client as well as all involved KN departments
* Development and management of project plan
* Support operational processes during ramp-up after implementation
* Ensure transferability of knowledge to other implementations

Your skills and experience
* Bachelor degree or apprenticeship or equivalent experience in logistics (preferred, not essential)
* Fluent in English (oral and written)
* Ability to work under pressure and to clearly defined deadlines
* Strong team player
* Ability to influence and persuade
* Well organised, accurate, discrete
* A keen eye for detail
* An analytical approach
* Ability to work independently in a proactive manner
* Project Management experience
* Contract Logistics experience
* Geographical flexibility within the region; projects mainly within the UK, with site visits throughout the region possible.

Technical Skills:
* Good knowledge in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Visio
* Can learn and then perform the CTI methodology successfully, including the Zero Failure Process
* Good Contract Logistics Operations experience or Logistics Engineering experience. Project Management experience and tendering experience is a plus
* Good knowledge and understanding of Logistics processes and goods flows; covering i.e. Inbound, Put-away, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Order Preparation, Value Added Logistics activities and Shipping.
* Good understanding of the ZF Gates 1-3. Able to develop detailed inputs to the new business tender cycle for small scale opportunities
* Good knowledge of Finance / Controlling in order to ensure good follow up of project budget
* Basic understanding of IT solutions
* Good understanding of Project Communication, and can implement existing stakeholder communication plans. Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
* Good understanding of Escalation Management, including the escalation matrix and roles & responsibilities of senior stakeholders within the project
* Good understanding of Issue and Risk Management, including the composition of the issue log to record and monitor issues as and when they occur, as well as the support to deliver a risk workshop and keeping the risk documentation up to date
* Good understanding of Project Planning Management, including the creation of a project plan with some guidance and control of the implementation budget by reporting costs and deviations with consideration to quality and delivery
* Understanding of Project Quality Management, including the quality management plan and support of both control and assurance
* Good understanding of Project Scope and Change Management, including the impact of scope and changes to scope. Support in the control and administration of scope and change management. Collection and documentation of scope requirements in a scope definition document. Determination and communication of any deviations if/when such occurs
