- Assisting in the month end Management Account reporting process through: - Consolidation of group reporting packs across the group within SAP;
- Generation of the Group`s Management Accounts and supporting schedules;
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and other month end checks for central and other key balances;
- Management of the Group`s intercompany matrix and intercompany loan balances; and
- Initial review of group reporting packs and consolidated figures.
- Day-to-day accounting for Group financial statement line items such as central amortisation of intangibles, exceptional items and the Group`s debt facility
- Managing the Group`s central cost recharge process
- Maintaining the Group`s chart of accounts
- Assisting with the half year and year end audits and the preparation of statutory accounts

- Enhancing the Group`s debt covenant reporting and cash forecasting process through: - Development of a detailed Group-wide, long term cash forecast model;
- Generating regular short-term cash flow forecasts with input from divisional financial controllers to ensure effective cash, interest and working capital management; and
- Maintenance and monthly updates of the above models.
- Maintenance of a consolidated balance sheet forecast, using working capital assumptions and P&L forecasts

- Taking ownership of the Group`s cash management processes

- Assisting in the integration of M&A activity and other ad-hoc projects where applicable

- Assisting in the documentation of Group accounting policies and procedures

- Other duties within the Group maybe required to be dealt with

- Skills required: - Experience with the SAP on demand and SAGE 50.
- Part /Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Commercial experience in industry or in practice
- Experience in performing or auditing basic group consolidations including intercompany eliminations
- Experience in performing or auditing balance sheet reconciliations and other key financial checks and controls
- Highly numerate with Excellent excel skills, including experience in building detailed forecasting models


- Ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information and to work in a fast-paced, challenging and changing environment.
- Ability to plan, organise and schedule efficiently.
- Ability to work and complete deliverables with little supervision.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work well within a team and take on extra responsibilities as and when required to ensure tight deadlines are met.
- Abilityto produce significant output with minimal wasted effort, with attention to detail and to multi-task on various projects.
- Strong communication skills- speaks and writes clearly and articulately. Maintains this standard in all forms or written communication, including email.


- The job is full time and based on Piccadilly, London.
- The position requires access to highly commercially sensitive information and the jobholder must ensure strict confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- All work performed will have a high level of exposure- both internally, at Board level and our external auditors.
