Account Manager - Partner Development Executive Telecoms - The role

This is an internal account management role with a focus on providing an all-encompassing account management sales and support service to a number of business partners / resellers (approx. 20 - 30 accounts). This includes pro-active account management, sales support and exceptional customer service. Whilst this is fundamentally an internal desk-based role, visits to partners will occur from time to time.

Essential requirements:-

Achievement of monthly connection targets through the provision of excellent account management, upselling and cross-selling a portfolio of products and services.

Management and development of partner accounts.

Profiling prospects within region in order to generate appointments and sales opportunities when necessary.

Provision of detailed product and service knowledge to dealers within remit.

Proactive customer care, query resolution etc.

Working with field based Business Development Managers to manage and service accounts delivering information, training, marketing incentives etc.

Strong, effective communication skills;

Strong planning and organisational skills;

Competent relationship builder with strong influencing/negotiating skills;

Full, preferably clean, driving license.


Have experience working in a telesales or similar desk-based, target driven, sales role.

Proven success within Account / Territory Management

Knowledge of the telecommunications industry is helpful, but not a prerequisite

Experience of working within a team.

Good presentation skills

Effective communication skills

Strong planning and organisational skills;

Competent relationship builder with strong influencing/negotiating skills;

Full, preferably clean, driving license

The company offers a basic salary of GBP23000- plus monthly bonus giving an additional GBP7000 per annum on target earnings. Hours of work are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Monday to Thursday inclusive), 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Fridays') - 37.5 hours per week (half hour for lunch each day), Stakeholder pension scheme, Health Cash Plan, Life Assurance, Staff, family and friends discounts, 28 days holiday per annum, inc. Bank/Public Holidays increasing with service
