Senior HR Consultant - Birmingham - Education Sector - £40K - £45K
Our client is a growing consultancy firm who have a strong presence delivering outsourced HR solutions to Schools and Academies across the UK. Due to expansion they are now looking to appoint a Senior HR Consultant from the Birmingham area to help service clients and develop the business in the West Midlands.
To be successful in the role of Senior HR Consultant you will be an experienced HR professional (ideally CIPD qualified) who has extensive experience of working specifically with schools and academies and as such has a working knowledge of the burgundy book (and to a lesser extent the silver book) T&Cs as well as demonstrable teaching union experience. You'll be supporting on a whole range of issues from ER resolution through to TUPE, change, consultation and restructures.
You'll be working with senior managers at Head teacher level and thus will need to have excellent communication skills both verbally and written. You will need to have an understanding of the education landscape in the West Midlands as part of your role will be to develop the business as it grows, ensuring you target the right schools and education establishment to grow moving forward.
As this is a brand new role it will be a fantastic opportunity for someone to really make it their own and grow as the opportunity grows. Ideally you have come from either a very similar organisation, advising schools on HR, or have come from a local authority role where you have been part of a HR team advising schools.
