Our client is recruiting on behalf of a midlands-based care organisation that focuses on providing the staff and resources to enable support services to function effectively, providing care in the home, care breaks for hardworking, full-time carers, and various staffing solutions to local trusts and healthcare providers. They are now seeking an Internal Recruiter / HR Assistant to join their team.

As an Internal Recruiter / HR Assistant, you will be tasked with supporting the recruitment of care workers and nurses and completing the admin activities that surround those processes.

Joining a small, close knit team, you will take responsibility for your own workload and actively contribute ideas to the recruitment process.

Specifically, you will co-ordinate the application and selection process and get involved in placing adverts and working with agencies. You’ll complete the relevant checks on applicants and make sure that all potential recruits are compliant with the regulations surrounding their roles.

As your role will involve working with external agencies, you will build and maintain relationships with agency staff to ensure retention and better manage resources.

You will be provided with training to ensure you can thrive through personal development but will be expected to hit the ground running in terms of recruitment activity. Interested? To be considered, you will need at least two years’ experience of working within HR administration or recruitment. If your experience is focused upon HR, you will also need some recruitment experience.

Dedicated, ambitious and focused, as an Internal Recruiter / HR Assistant, you will need to be highly organised with a close attention to detail. The ability to work well as part of a team will be key, as will the willingness to contribute ideas and communicate effectively.

A degree level qualification would be beneficial to your application. Previous experience of working with the public sector and/or care industry would be beneficial to your application.
