We are looking to recruit a part time Estate Manager for the Leylands Estate in Derby. This is a job share basis for 17.5 hours a week, although some flexibility is important and the role requires participation in the outof hours on-call rota. This role is essential to ensure the housing and welfare teams deliver the highest standards of service delivery to current and prospective residents.
As Estate Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the estate including supported living, and extra care accommodation, housing management services, maintenance and finance staff, ensuring that contractual, health and safety, and legal obligations are met within budget.
The ideal individual will have previous management experience in a housing, care or social work related field, and have proven ability in managing multidisciplinary teams. Strong management and communication skills are essential together with an understanding of the needs and concerns of elderly, frail or disabled people.
