Kendall Poole Consulting is proud to represent this world leading foam manufacturer in their search for a Health, Safety, Environmental & Ergonomics Administrator for a 6 month interim contract. Working with a team of two and reporting to the HSE&E Manager you will provide a high quality service, liaising with colleagues from various levels within the plant, on delivery of best practice HSE&E processes and policies.

This role will assist the HSEE Manager and HSE&E Assistant to administer risk assessments in a timely manner and escalate associated inquiries/queries to the HSEE Manager. You will also deal with administrative enquiries from statutory bodies i.e. HSE, Environmental Health and the Fire Service. You will administer and monitor procedures which support the site's HSEE strategy, and ensure the PPE is administered, including raising PO's. You will administer near miss forms and escalate to the HSEE Manager, and ensure all HSEE monthly reporting is done accurately and in a timely manner. You will respond to requests for reports on HSEE metrics from both HSEE Manager and Line Management; and will participate in and undertake ad hoc HSEE projects, when agreed with the HSEE Manager. You will support the Site and the HSEE Team in continuous improvement activities; and will ensure that the training matrix is efficient, up-to-date and accurate at all times. You will maintain the relevant records such as the training matrix, rotation records and other similar records in an efficient, accurate and timely manner; and will administer and follow up on corrective actions to ensure they are completed. In this role you will administer Safety Alerts and Tool Box Talks as required. You will also administer and organize associated HSEE training, follow through to completion of HSEE matrix.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, the successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a very fast paced manufacturing environment, in a best in class organisation within the automotive, aerospace, foam, chemical process, oil & gas, or heavy engineering sectors where lean manufacturing is employed. With experience of working within project management, you will have excellent PC literacy skills e.g. Microsoft packages. You will have generalist administration experience in a fast paced environment. A Certificate or Diploma NEBOSH would be an advantage.
