Holt Executive are assisting a prestigious, leading manufacturer of Microfinishing and Robotic & Automation solutions in their search for an Electrical Lead Engineer.

The key responsibilities for the Electrical Lead Engineer.

- The Electrical Lead Engineer will be part responsible for the timing and organizing of electrical parts list.
- They will have the ability to build an electrical panel from scratch working from technical drawings
- The Electrical Lead Engineer will be responsible for the electrical installation of machines on site at the customers. This too would involve travelling abroad and could involve working away from home for set weeks agreed.
- Service support responding to customers' requests after installation will be required
- The Electrical Lead Engineer will working closely with the project manager, controls engineer and shop floor manager maintaining delivery targets set by the customer.
- Report back to the project team on project timing / issues.
- Work with the controls engineer to complete final machine commissioning at customer site (UK and overseas)
- Responsible for the leadership, organisation, control and development of the manufacturing team.
- The Electrical Lead Engineer will have primary focus on delivering all manufacturing electrical projects and performance improvement.
- The Electrical Lead Engineer will help develop a team of electrical engineers to deliver the manufacturing goals, drive continuous improvement and lead the site towards an integrated manufacturing approach to engineering and operational management.
- They must ensure equipment, building and facilities are maintained to a standard that delivers an effective and safe operation.
- The Electrical Lead Engineer will directly manage and leading the company's manufacturing electrical workforce as well as undertaking staff reviews and any disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- The Electrical Lead Engineer will be working closely with the Manufacturing Management team to drive the business forward and achieve the targets set-out.
- The Electrical Lead Engineer will plan and prioritise workload to ensure that lead-times are consistently achieved, promote a culture of producing high quality work in a clean and safe work environment and produce reports and production updates for the manufacturing manager upon request.

Skills & Qualifications required for the Electrical Lead Engineer.

- The Electrical Lead Engineer will have the ability to read electrical schematics drawings
- They will be have great communication with customers
- The Electrical Lead Engineer will be flexible with travelling worldwide
- They will have the ability to work under minimal supervision and able to work to tight deadlines
- The Electrical Lead Engineer will have great ttechnical documentation writing skills
