Our client is a professional services organisation, they are looking for a Team Leader to join their collections / debt recovery team. The role will involve providing day to day management of the support function ensuring adherence to SLA’s. The Team Leader will provide the support and development necessary to encourage their team to achieve their best.

Principle Responsibilities:

·Monitoring and overseeing a team, providing feedback, support and development to achieve department SLA’s

·Ensure that all aspects of regulatory compliance are met and that quality checking and reporting takes place to continuously improve the team’s overall performance

·Process correspondence efficiently to ensure high standards of customer service and maximise the chances for recovery of debts.

·Identify any potential breaches and report to senior management

·Hold regular meetings and 1-1’s with staff to coach and mentor them, to improve performance and develop their skills

·Produce and maintain reports tracking KPI’s and standards

·Develop and implement incentives to drive morale and performance

·Support senior management with recommendations for process improvements

Skills required:

·Previous management experience as a team leader or team manager, preferably within a debt recovery / collections environment

·Proven ability in improving team performance through coaching and development

·Experience of working in a regulated environment

·Evidence of working in a target driven environment

·Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at all levels

·High attention to detail – organisational skills

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Strong IT skills
