Field Sales Executive
Our client is a national advertising company, utilising buses from non-major fleets (such as First, Stagecoach etc) to advertise their clients.
Their client-base ranges from one-man-bands right up to councils and the NHS etc, although there are pretty much no restrictions on who they sell to.
Main Duties/Key Tasks·Achieve sales orders at commercially acceptable rates.·Achieve sales orders at commercially acceptable levels both in terms of quality and quantity.·Ensure they are achieved honestly and within company guidelines.·Maintain good standard of appearance and conduct.·Pro-actively canvass new business prospects.·Maintain a good working knowledge of space availability and concessionaire information.·Complete all records on a database including; all prospects, appointments and activity.·Meet agreed targets both in sales & appointments.·Use of ACT! software to log prospects and appointments
Competencies Required·Skilled sales negotiator.·Effective time and territory planning.·Commercial awareness.·Motivated to achieve company goals and objectives.·Working in a team culture.
Basic salary will be between 15k-18k with realistic on target earnings of around 20- 25k
Candidates applying for this role do not necessarily need to have previous sales experience although it would be beneficial. Drive and an aptitude for sales is however essential.
