Shooting Stars Nurseries at Bromsgrove are currently
recruiting a Room Leader to work within our
Baby room, working 40 hours per week, Monday to
Friday. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a room within a brand
new setting. As this post is maternity cover, we would ideally be
looking to recruit a candidate who may be looking to be offered a
permanent role as a Nursery Nurse after the Maternity cover period has
ended, however this is not essential.
The successful applicant must have a minimum level three childcare
qualification, along with knowledge of the EYFS and experience of
implementing this within a private day nursery setting. Previous
supervisory experience is essential. Experience of working with babies
and young children under two is desirable.
Shooting Stars Nurseries prides itself on 'providing the ultimate
care and education'. The successful candidate would be required to
provide the highest standards of quality within the nursery including
the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
Shooting Stars Nurseries are committed to safeguarding and promoting
the welfare of the children within our care and expects all those
employed by the Company to share this commitment.
This post involves working with children and is therefore exempt from
the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. You are therefore required
to declare any convictions or cautions that you may have, including
those that would otherwise be regarded as ‘spent’ under this Act.
All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS
disclosure. The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers
make safer recruitment decisions. It also prevents unsuitable people
from working with vulnerable groups, including children through its
criminal records checking and barring functions.
If you are passionate about childcare and would like to be considered
for this exciting opportunity, please contact the nursery manager
