We're looking for a Sales channel Executive to join our Business Development Team to help us continue to make that difference.

How the role fits in

As part of the business development team, this role will be crucial in supporting first utility's continuous development of our sales channels and their performance. You will be responsible for sales management including but not restricted to reporting target management and partner incentives. You will also be the interface between the channel management and support administration function. The channels include both established partnerships and new initiatives.

You will be delivering results alongside third parties with an emphasis on high quality and compliance. This will be delivered through the organisation of, internal and external teams including Marketing, Sales, Product and building strong relationships with external partners. You will thrive in a fast paced environment managing stakeholders and a high volume of sales orders with the associated reporting requirements.

This role would be great for an individual who enjoys communicating with a variety of people, having variation in tasks and a good level of stakeholder management.

The role day to day

Continuous interaction with our partners, managing and setting expectations to ensure all information is audited in the correct manner.
Monitoring Escalation to Sales Channels to request and track action for failed verifications.
Managing partners to ensure all Compliance requests by Channel Managers are actioned in a timely and effective manner and Identifying non-compliant performance.
Supporting with identifiaction and role out of new products
Manage the forecasting of field sales teams identifying and monitoring resource spend in relation to headcount and growth plans.
Being first point of contact to our external partners.You will be regarded as a knowledge expert and an interface between our partners and First Utility
Reporting ( Weekly and monthly ) on performance of our partners and channels
Project management - role out of new requirements to partners testing new tools and training changes.
Forecast Co ordination - mamaging partners to deliver on forecasts and collation of data overall sales channel performance
Support Existing Sales teams including senior channel managers, Auditors, Compliance and administrator
Ad-Hoc duties including, reporting and support

What you'll need to help you make the best of the role

Ability to cope with several projects at any one time, sometimes working to tight deadlines
Demonstrible experience of managing stakeholders including driving performance and negotiating skills
Ability to influence and persuade partners and stakeholders
Prior experience of a sales/ account manager environment
Experience of problem solving
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to clearly identify priorities and challenges to steer a path of greatest value while maintaining good external and internal relationships.
Excellent general business process knowledge covering sales and customer management or the ability to pick up new processes quickly
Prior experience of reporting performance (KPI's, SLA's, compliance)

The nice to have's

Experience of energy sector sales ( including compliance, process and audit support )
Previous experience of field or tele sales environments
