CAS Behavioral Health is one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist behavioral adult healthcare services.
We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Operative to join our team at Elms.

Job Role:
As a Maintenance Operative you will liaise with the manager regarding maintenance work that needs carrying out. You will be responsible for reporting any faulty appliances, damaged furniture/equipment and any other potential hazards to the manager who in turn will advise what to do next.
You will carry out general maintenance tasks, which could include; re-painting any areas of walls or woodwork and general plumbing duties as and when required. Following instructions in a safe environment for clients/visitors/staff is a crucial part of this role.
About you:
We require someone with experience of working in a general maintenance role including general electrical /plumbing /construction.
Having general maintenance knowledge, preferably in the electrical/plumbing and construction industry is key.
It is advisable to have knowledge of current Health & Safety Regulations.
Painting and decorating skills as well as general joinery/carpentry skills is preferable.

Specific Requirement
Please note – this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 as you will be in contact with vulnerable adults. Therefore all candidates invited for interview will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and any offer of employment is subject to successful clearance.
