PMO Lead (SAP)

We have an opportunity for a PMO Lead to join Experis on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of our Employed Consultant team, on a major public sector account. This is a chance to be part of an award winning organisation whose key priority is investing in its people.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a PMO that supports the project management community in SAP & CBP through a shared PMO service
  • Support the project management community in SAP & CBP through a shared PMO service
  • Have a thorough understanding of Programme/Project Financial Control and/or Planning/Schedule Control.
  • Perform Progress Monitoring and Analysis Reporting to a high standard, employing account tools and techniques in support of this activity, eg Microsoft Project, Niku, Open Workbench, OPAL, and Business Objects
  • Establish and maintain Project Delivery plans, reflecting new and established releases, using account standard planning tools and techniques.
  • Assist in managing and tracking the updates to release level and core delivery plans using Clarity and Open Workbench tools
  • Produce and analyse a suite of reports for circulation within the programme, adhering to account standards and deadlines
  • Corroborate Project forecasts and enter into Clarity/OPAL, input revenue figures, undertake analysis of actuals versus previous forecasts, using standard and non standard Business Objects reports
  • Have a sound knowledge of Risks and Issues Management, evidenced by their ability to establish and verify risks and issues, and produce reports reflecting same for Risk Review meetings
  • Understand and participate in Change Control activity within the
  • Programme, receipt and distribution of Change Requests, Proposals and associated impacts
  • Attend development and progress meetings, producing reports and minutes
  • Provide specific support to PMO Managers, Release Managers, Core Delivery Managers and Technical Team Leaders to implement changes
  • Assist in tracking implementation of developed improvements within the PMO and wider programme, and work co-operatively to support other PMO team members in delivery of complimentary PMO service changes

Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years experience working in a PMO function, preferably in a leadership position
  • Previous public sector experience desirable
  • SAP experience
