This world leader in fluid control technologies, are currently looking for a Development Engineer to work on new product development programmes. You will have a background in Development Testing, and the ability to design and construct test circuits and procedures, analyse test results and propose solutions / improvements to both new and existing designs. You will ideally have knowledge of engineering tools such as APQP, DFMEA, DOE gained within an engineering manufacturing environment. As Development Engineer:-

You will work as part of a Technical Department working closely with various engineering disciplines including Electronics, Development, Applications etc, delivering innovative and profitable customer and sector specific solutions
Researching new technologies
Generating design concepts
Planning and managing validation programmes
Progressing projects through to production
Liaising with suppliers and visiting customers both in the UK and overseas

The Ideal Candidate:-

Extensive Development Testing experience, from a mechanical engineering manufacturing background
Knowledge of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic products, assemblies and systems is highly desirable
Ability to design and construct test circuits and procedures
Able to analyse test results and establish root causes, and propose solutions / improvements
Working knowledge of engineering tools such as APQP, DFMEA and DOE together with a sound grasp of fundamental engineering principles and manufacturing techniques
Familiar with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Outlook
Ideally HNC / Degree qualified or equivalent
