The desire to pass on your knowledge and love of science to a younger generation is key. An ability to breakdown complex topics and deliver them in a fervent manor will be encouraged.

This Science Teaching Assistant position involves supporting teaching and learning in the well equipped science department that matches your degree subject. You will have the pleasure of being surrounded by the latest learning resources and brand new laboratories supported by excellent technicians. Your talents will be utilised on a department-wide basis, and you will find yourself working with the various year groups throughout the placement ensuring amble experience throughout the different key stages. Your duties will include searching for new and creative ways in which to teach young minds, ensuring they are enthused and engaged in your lessons. You will have the full support of a Senior Teacher throughout your tenure and the science department is highly respected within the school.
