Ashfield Healthcare is proud to be partnering with one of the UK's largest pharmaceutical companies, in order to provide a permanent headcount opportunity for an

experienced Dispensing Account Specialist to join an established respiratory team. Driving both the market share and sales for the client's innovative product

portfolio primarily across Dispensing Doctor accounts throughout East Midlands South, you will be responsible to identifying and advising business development

opportunities, promoting the portfolio to key decision makers across Primary Care and providing a high level of respiratory expertise to improve the health of

patients, whilst also supporting Dispensing Doctors and their budgeting requirements throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
* To effectively manage Dispensing Doctor accounts in order to achieve agreed targets and activity parameters, whilst therefore increasing the sales demand, company

revenue and market share of the product portfolio
* Utilising the appropriate influencers, such as GPs and Dispensary Managers, you should aim to drive medication reviews across the NHS at Practice level
* Adopting long term commercial partnerships, you should influence targets customers in order build acquisition, retention and customer loyalty
* To effectively manage a promotional and educational budget
* To implement a range of marketing activities and initiatives
* The identification of business opportunities through the use of business planning and financially constructed commercial proposals
* High levels of product knowledge should always be displayed to NHS customers.

Essential Skills

* Outstanding negotiation skills and the ability to influence cost-driven Healthcare Practitioners
* Previous experience supporting Dispensing Doctor accounts and knowledge of dispensing profit
* Exemplary commercial acumen
* Previous experience within contracts and tendering
* Demonstrable results within a Key Account Management role or similar
* The ability to interpret and make us of a range of available data sources to improve territory planning and the development of robust business proposals
* Previous experience within respiratory care is beneficial but not essential
