PestFix is a UK-based distributor of pest control products, systems and consumables.

We invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced sales professionals for the newly created role of National Sales Manager.

The National Sales Manager’s primary objective will be to generate sales revenue against pre-agreed monthly & quarterly net sales targets and provide consistent sales growth for the business.

Initially this role will be completely hands-on, dealing directly with existing and potential business customers. Once performance milestones have been met the role will develop into a sales management role as the company builds an external sales team around you.

To meet and exceed the sales targets the National Sales Manager will be expected to:

Generate new sales leads by attending exhibitions and trade association forums with the objective of identifying potential customers with pest control needs and then following leads through to successful sale.

Manage & close new business leads passed to them by the PestFix inside sales team, generated via the company’s six figure annual investment in marketing

Win target accounts assigned to them and convert those accounts into key accounts to be managed by the PestFix key accounts team under their supervision.

Manage existing key accounts with the use of the company’s existing key account management team.

Primarily this role will be a face to face sales role involving extensive national travel to customer sites. The sales process will be of a technical nature and involve sales-cycles that can range from days to months.

The successful candidate will:

Demonstrate a history of over-performance in selling business support products and/or services.

Have a history of successfully recruiting, motivating and maintaining a field-based sales team.

Be able to show evidence of formal sales and negotiation training

Show the ability to manage often complex, multi-layered sales relationships and processes

Be able to demonstrate experience in implementing and managing sales plans, revenue forecasting and reporting.

Be a self-starter, hungry for financial reward.

A background in sales of pest control products and / or services would be considered and advantage.

This role is home-based, but will involve frequent visits to the company’s West Sussex headquarters. The National Sales Manager will be supported by and report to the Company Directors. The incumbent will be provided with a company car / allowance, mobile phone, laptop and expense account. Basic salary will be by negotiation and will be commensurate with the gravitas of the role, performance related pay will play a major part in this person’s earnings with an OTE potential of £80,000 and uncapped performance-related pay.
