Energy Projects Engineer

We are delighted to be working alongside this prestigious client who due to their continuous growth they are expanding their team and are looking for a Energy Projects Engineer.

Our client is a market leader in the agricultural and horticultural industry. They offer a good working environment and opportunities for career development as the business continues to expand.

Our client is looking for an Energy Projects Engineer with an understanding of agriculture to support their experienced team of specialist consultants. The role is to work on delivery of projects and to also provide ongoing performance monitoring/reporting. A typical project portfolio might include biomass boilers, anaerobic digester's and natural gas fuelled combined heat and power.

Your responsibilities will be to support their existing team by carrying out a range of activities including:

 Data collection and analysis.

 Site surveying.

 Instrumentation installation and operation.

 Helping to develop project feasibility and design studies.

 Preparing drawings and schematic diagrams with the use of CAD.

 Assisting with reports, presentations, bids and tenders.

Experience and skills

You will have a good academic background, with a degree level qualification preferably in an engineering discipline. We are looking for someone with experience in, and knowledge of, the agricultural sector. Experience in the energy sector will be helpful, but it is not essential. You will demonstrate attention to detail, be adaptable and show initiative. High IT proficiency and excellent communication skills are essential. We’re looking for a candidate with aptitude and enthusiasm.

Depending on your experience, you will receive a salary of between £20,000 & £30,000 together with a generous benefits package. This is a full-time post, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. A full current driving licence and own transport are essential.
