Your new school
A Special Education Needs school which caters for pupils aged between 2-25 with additional difficulties including sensory impairment, learning difficulties, communication difficulties or complex medical conditions. This is a long term assignment to start in September. The role will be term time only 8am - 4pm.
Your new job
This school receptionist job/administration will involve working on the busy school reception dealing with meeting and greeting parents visitors and pupils as well as answering and transferring calls and taking messages. You will also be responsible for typing reports and carrying out general office tasks such as filing, typing and photocopying.
What you'll need to succeed
For this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and telephone manner as well as an understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception. You will also have recent experience working as a school receptionist with satisfactory references. Any person working in a school must hold an enhanced DBS check.
