The Company

Our client is a specialist in the design and refurbishment of components and modifications to Rolling Stock including traction and braking systems. They have been around for over 100 years and are constantly churn out project after project of the highest quality for a variety of extremely satisfied TOCs, ROSCOs and OEMs. Their substantial growth in recent months means they require an interim Materials Project Manager to manage the Warranty period of some of their projects.

Your Role

As Project Manager you will be responsible for attending a variety of different sites across the country with a view to establishing good working relationships with some of this organisations key clients. As we all know, things can go wrong from time to time but as a Project Manager you will be responsible as the face of the business for ensuring the end result leaves both parties satisfied. You will be responsible for all warranty issues, both technical and commercial and will build solid relationships with all stakeholders (internal, external and supply chain)

You

As Project Manager you will be a technical, experienced Rolling Stock Professional who has experience managing customers, stakeholders and materials and will be willing to travel to a variety of sites during your contract. You will be someone who has a sound knowledge of a variety of technical elements including traction and brakes and performance & reliability. You will be looking to join an organisation that KEEPS contractors and values them greatly. An initial contract here will usually lead to a decent extension.

Your Reward

As the latest addition to this famous organisation you will receive an hourly rate of around £25 per hour and will be given the responsibility of ensuring that the projects are closely managed. The right candidate will receive a long-term contract with huge opportunities throughout this World famous group.
