Position: Marketing Officer
Location: Kegworth or Rugby
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £18,000 - £22,000, dependant on experience and qualifications

About the role:

They have have an exciting opportunity for an innovative graduate Marketing Officer to join a rapidly growing, young and largely unknown brand, achieving national presence. You will bring creativity and a passion to make a difference to our client saving lives in the UK.

As Marketing Officer your primary responsibility will be to support the trading arm of the charity to deliver both marketing and recruitment campaigns to build community support around both new and existing shops.

Based at their Rugby or Kegworth office the role will require you to split the week between these 2 locations, with occasional travel to other operational sites. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role attracts a salary of £18 - 22K, depending on qualifications and experience, and a contributory pension scheme among other non-monetary benefits.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will be educated to degree level in marketing, communications, media journalism or a similar subject with a knowledge and experience of marketing.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and be confident writing, copyrighting and proof reading.

You will be a highly organised individual with the ability to plan and organise your own workload without direct supervision and be able to plan and manage a variety project and activities to tight deadlines.

You will be IT literate in Word, Excel, Power Point, internet and social media

Research skills are essential to this role.

You may have experience of the following: Marketing Officer, Marketing Assistant, PR, Public Relations, Marketing Communications, CRM, Marcoms, Social Media, Content Management, Microsoft Office, Digital Marketing, Campaign Management etc.
