£17,000 - £19,000 doe

Our client are looking to recruit a Office Administrator to provide support and assistance primarily to their Management team based in Derbyshire. They are looking for someone to handle a variety of administration duties and to support the team of Engineers and Management, in ensuring that the office is organised and operates effectively


Typical responsibilities

  • Maintain filing records for management
  • To assist Managing Director, Capital Projects Manager and Technical Manager with administration on short and long term projects.
  • Reception duties
  • Handling correspondence for team
  • Communicating with materials suppliers and vendors
  • Making travel arrangements for employees
  • Preparing documents by printing, copying and binding
  • Acting as a Personal Assistant to the Executive team

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working in an office environment for a minimum of 2 years
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to work proactively to meet the needs of the management
  • Naturally analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Confident and articulate communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Proficient working knowledge of MS packages to include: PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Possess an organised and thorough approach to work
