Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a 6 month contract working for a service sector company based in Walsall. You will be working as part of a small friendly but long standing team where you will be responsible for the complete running of the purchase ledger function.

Your duties will include:

  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing payments by BACs, CHAPs and cheques
  • Resolving supplier queries

My client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who is able to join the business and hit the ground running. You will have excellent communication skills and you must be able to manage and prioritise your workload. You must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other computerised accounting systems such as Oracle.
